Kobe Bryant’s final road game uniform, sneakers up for bid at SCP Auctions
Kobe Bryant ended his illustrious NBA career with a bang, scoring 60 points in his 2015-16 season finale to cap his 20-year career.
Two nights earlier, Bryant had an uncharacteristic lackluster performance, scoring just 13 points with one rebound in just 18:57 minutes in a road game at Oklahoma City.
But the uniform Bryant wore in that April 11, 2016 game could wind up being a big hit.
Bryant’s full uniform and shoes from his final NBA road game are up for bid in the Fall Premier Auction at SCP Auctions.
Bryant wore the purple jersey and matching against the just two nights before his famous 60-point “Mamba Out” finale at Staples Center. The jersey, shorts and shoes have each been photo-matched by Resolution Photomatching to his final career road game, while the shorts have been matched to nine additional games over the final two months of his farewell season.
Bryant’s Nike ‘Kobe 11 Elite Low’ gold and purple sneakers are coveted by both sneakerheads and basketball collectors. According to SCP, the unique stitch pattern and patch-to-mesh hole alignment on the uniform made for easy photo-matches during on-court action.
Bidding begins on Nov. 15 and runs through Dec. 2. For more information, visit scpauctions.com.
