The postcard is the only autographed example and one of the scarcest rookie-era Pelé collectibles ever brought to public auction. It features Pelé's rare and longer “Edson Arantes = Pelé” signature and was issued in Brazil during the same year that Pelé made his World Cup debut.
Goldin’s soccer auction opened May 15 and runs through June 13, ahead of the June 11-July 19 FIFA World Cup across the U.S., Canada and Mexico. It features rare trading cards, game-worn jerseys and historically significant memorabilia spanning the sport's greatest players and defining moments.

One of the top modern pieces is a 2025 Lamine Yamal match-worn, signed and inscribed FC Barcelona home jersey from his 100th career game. The jersey was worn the night Yamal became the youngest player in history to reach 100 professional appearances.
