Historic Dodgers memorabilia highlights Goldin’s Game-Used Auction
Fresh off its 2024 World Series victory, the Los Angeles Dodgers and some of its most iconic stars are featured in the fall Game Used Auction at Goldin Co.
The Dodgers memorabilia includes four items from Shohei Ohtani’s historic 50/50 season, including the third-base bag from his 50th home run game.
The auction, which opened on Oct. 28 and runs through Nov. 23, also features historic items from such iconic and controversial stars as Pete Rose, Ty Cobb, Barry Bonds, and Mark McGwire.
Dodgers highlights include:
• 1958-59 Sandy Koufax Los Angeles Dodgers jersey. The jersey was worn during the 1958 MLB season and contains a Rawlings “Hall of Fame Flannel” tag along with Koufax’s signature. Current bid: $250,000.
• Shohei Ohtani career home run #176 ball. The official baseball was used in the Dodgers-Mets game on April 21, 2024, when Ohtani belted his 176th career home run to surpass Hideki Matsui for the most home runs by a Japanese-born player. Current Bid: $10,000.
• Shohei Ohtani 54th home run ball. The ball from Ohtani’s 54th home run of the season, the highest total by a Japanese-born player in a single-season.
• Game-used third base from Shohei Ohtani's 50/50 Club game & game-used Miami Marlins lineup card. Both items were used during the historic Marlins-Dodgers game when Ohtani reached the 50/50 club.
• George Soriano, Mike Baumann, Vidal Brujan game-used Miami Marlins home jerseys. The three jerseys are from the Miami Marlins pitchers who surrendered home runs to Ohtani during the Sept. 19 game when reached the 50/50 club.
Other historic memorabilia includes:
• Baseball from Pete Rose career hit #4,191. Official ONL Feeney baseball Rose hit for his 4,191st hit on Sept. 8, 1985 to tie Hall of Famer Ty Cobb’s all-time career hits record. Current Bid: $25,000.
• 2007 Barry Bonds final career home run #762 baseball. The signed ball Bonds hit on Sept. 5, 2007 for his 762nd and final home run. Current Bid: $100,000.
• Mark McGwire inscribed bat from Games 3, 4, 5 of the 1988 World Series. Rawlings bat McGwire, the A’s young slugger, used for a walk-off home run in Game 3 of the World Series.
