Michael Jordan jersey, sneakers top $1.3 million in Game Used Auction at Goldin
A pair of Michael Jordan sneakers from his second NBA season and a game-worn Bulls jersey from his sixth NBA championship season combined to sell for sold more than $1.3 million in the 2025 Summer Game Used Auction at Goldin.
A signed Chicago Bulls home jersey worn by Jordan and photo-matched to Game 2 of the 1998 Eastern Conference Semifinals during his “Last Dance” season sold for $799,100 to top the auction.

Jordan’s game-used, twice-signed Nike Air Jordan 1 sneakers photo-matched to his injury-shortened 1985-86 season sold for $579,500.
The auction, which closed on Sept. 20, featured more than 500 game-used and signed items across four decades of sports. Several items set auction records, including:
• The July 2013 Andy Murray match-used Head tennis racquet photo-matched to his 2013 Men's Wimbledon Final when he became the first British champion in 76 years sold for $73,200, an all-time high for any Murray item.
• Jan. 3, 2021 Justin Herbert game-used Los Angeles Chargers away jersey photo-matched to his rookie season for $67,100, an all-time high for the public sale of a Herbert jersey.
• Oct. 23, 2004 Yadier Molina game-used St. Louis Cardinals jersey photo-matched to Molina’s rookie season for $21,655, a record for a Molina jersey.
Other notable sales include:
• Aug. 9, 2002 Barry Bonds game-used official baseball from his 600th career home run for $171,410.
• March 14, 2019 Luka Dončić game-used Dallas Mavericks jersey photo-matched to his rookie season for $109,800.
• Jan. 11, 2022 Stephen Curry game-used Golden State Warriors City Edition jersey for $70,976.
• Aug. 23, 2020 Shohei Ohtani game-used, photo-matched ASICS cleats for $41,195.
• Dec. 12, 2013 Peyton Manning game-used Denver Broncos home jersey for $29,585.
• July 6, 2002 Serena Williams signed, match-worn white/gold Puma dress from her first Wimbledon title for $24,406.
