Baseball Hall of Famer Eddie Plank was one of the top left-handed pitchers of all time, compiling 326 wins (third among left-handers) from 1901-17.

Plank also has two of the most rare trading cards in the hobby, with his 1909-11 T206 card selling for six figures and top $850,000 in top condition (PSA 8).

REA had another Plank card in its September Auction that attracted an attractive price. A rare 1903 E107 Breisch-Williams Eddie Plank card graded SGC VG/EX 4, the only example graded 4 by SGC with none higher, sold for $76,875, a record for the card in any grade. The Breisch-Williams Plank card is more than the elusive T206, according to REA.
