1972-73 Topps Julius Erving rookie card headlines March Auction REA
Before Michael Jordan, Larry Bird and Magic Johnson dominated the 1980s and ’90s, another NBA superstar took the league by storm.
Former ABA star and Basketball Hall of Famer Julius Erving captivated the hoops world with his acrobatic, high-flying game. The three-time champion and four-time MVP averaged 24.2 points per game over his 16-year career.
Though Dr. J’s trading cards have not reached Jordan or LeBron status, they are among the most valuable and coveted cards among 1970s hoops cards.
A 1972-1973 Topps Basketball #195 Julius Erving Rookie graded PSA MINT 9 headlines the March Auction at REA.
