Super Bowl 50 helmet signed by 43 MVPs among NFL memorabilia up for bid at Goldin

As the NFL season surges toward its stretch run and the 2023 playoffs, Goldin Co. has an impressive collection of NFL memorabilia up for bid in its November Elite Auction.

The auction, which runs through Dec. 2, is highlighted by a Super Bowl 50 commemorative helmet signed by the Super Bowl MVP Award winners at the time of the game in 2016.

The Super Bowl 50 commemorative helmet marks the golden anniversary of the Super Bowl and is signed by 43 Super Bowl MVP Award winners, including Brady, Manning, Bart Starr and Aaron Rodgers.

The auction also features game-worn and autographed memorabilia from such NFL legends as Tom Brady, Joe Montana and Peyton Manning

Another highlight of the auction is the only known 1965 Joe Namath Rookie Card Type 1 original photo, which is widely regarded as one of the most important football Type 1 photos in the hobby. Namath’s 1965 Topps rookie card is considered one of the most coveted and valuable football cards in the hobby.

Other football memorabilia in the auction includes:

• New York Giants 1986 Super Bowl champion team-signed helmet from the game when the Giants set a record with 30 points in the game’s final two quarters. It features a signature from quarterback Phil Simms, who completed 10 consecutive passes, another Super Bowl record.

• New York Jets 1968 Super Bowl champion team-signed helmet, featuring signatures from Hall of Famers Joe Namath and Don Maynard.

• Hall of Famer Dan Fouts game-worn San Diego Chargers home jersey from the 1982 NFL season.

• Tom Brady team-issued uniform from the 2008 AFC Pro Bowl.

• Tom Brady signed 2000 Playoff Contenders Championship Ticket Rookie Card.

• Travis Kelce game-used jersey from the 2019 Kansas City Chiefs away game victory against the Los Angeles Chargers.

• Roger Staubach game-used and signed Dallas Cowboys away jersey from the 1977 NFL season when he led the Cowboys to a second Super Bowl victory. The item also includes a video clip of Roger Staubach holding the jersey.

• 2017 Patrick Mahomes II Panini National Treasures Patch Rookie Card, signed by the two-time Super Bowl champion and NFL MVP.
