Iconic F1 cards up for bid at eBay ahead of 2025 season
With the 2025 Formula One season set to take the green flag for the season-opening Australian GP on March 16, eBay has multiple auctions featuring trading cards of some of F1’s biggest stars, including defending champion Max Verstappen.
According to eBay, collectors and fans searched for F1 items nearly 1,900 times per hour in 2024, while searches for “F1 trading cards” has increased by more than 60 percent as the 2025 season approaches. The most searched for drivers in 2024 were Lewis Hamilton, Verstappen, Lando Norris, Charles Leclerc, and Oscar Piastri.
Current eBay Auctions featuring F1 cards close between March 9-12.
Highlights include:
• A 2021 Topps Dynasty F1 Fernando Alonso RC Gold Patch Autograph #1/1 (PSA 10, DNA 10 Auto). Considered Alonso’s Topps rookie card, it features the first on-card autograph for the two-time F1 champion, as well as a rare “F1” logo patch.

• 2020 Topps Chrome Sapphire F1 #141 Max Verstappen RC Red Refractor #/5 (PSA 9). Featuring an image of the 21-year-old Verstappen winning his first race of the 2019 season, this is the only PSA 9 version of the card.
• 2020 Topps Dynasty F1 Lando Norris RC Patch Autograph #04/10 (PSA 10, DNA 10 Auto). The classic 2020 Topps Dynasty set is the first Formula One set to feature cards with on-card autographs as well as patches of driver-worn memorabilia.
eBay has also kicked off a new promotion offering a 50 percent discount on Final Value Fees for trading cards that sell for $1,000 or more. The limited-time promotion helps sellers connect with collectors looking to expand their collections with highly sought-after, high-value cards.
Running through May 4, the promotion is open to all U.S. trading card sellers and features both graded and ungraded cards in both eBay auctions and “Buy It Now” deals.
