Goldin, eBay auctions feature iconic LeBron, Michael Jordan, Caitlin Clark cards
With the NBA headed into its stretch run toward the 2024-25 playoffs, Goldin and eBay are offering some rare basketball gems in its March auctions.
Goldin’s March Elite Auction features a rare LeBron James card that could top $1 million.
The 2003-04 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection #78 LeBron James signed Patch Rookie Card (#10/99) is one of LeBron’s most iconic cards and has a current bid of $650,000. Graded BGS Gem Mint 9.5 with a Beckett 10 autograph, the three-color patch card is one of only 11 copies at that grade, with none graded higher.

Other basketball highlights in the Goldin auction include:
• 1998-99 Upper Deck Jordan Game Jersey Michael Jordan signed game-used relic card (#06/23). Graded BGS 9.5 with a Beckett 10 auto, the card features a swatch from the red game-worn jersey worn by Jordan in an official game during the 1992-93 NBA season, which ended with Jordan’s third straight NBA title. It has a current bid of $87,000.
• 2009-10 Topps Chrome Gold Refractor #101 Stephen Curry Rookie Card (#01/50). The rarest version of Curry’s Topps Chrome rookie card is graded PSA 8 and has a current bid of $66,000.
• 2007-08 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection Jerseys Kobe Bryant/LeBron James dual-signed game-used relic card (#2/5). Graded BGS 8.5 with a Beckett 10 auto, the card features on-card autographs and four game-used swatches from two legends of the game. It has a current bid of $43,000.
• 2018-19 Panini Prizm Gold Prizm #184 Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Rookie card (#05/10). The card of one of the favorites for 2024-25 NBA MVP is one of only three graded PSA 10. It has a current bid of $49,000.
• 2024 Panini Prizm WNBA Signatures Gold Vinyl Prizm Caitlin Clark signed Rookie card. The #1/1 rookie card of the WNBA star and one of the hobby’s rising stars is graded PSA 10 with PSA/DNA 10 autograph. It has a current bid of $19,000.
eBay’s March Marquee Auction, which runs from March 13-23, features two more NBA gems as well as some classic baseball cards.
Highlights include:
• 1996-97 Allen Iverson Topps Chrome #171 Refractor. Graded GEM MINT 10, Iverson is pictured in his 76ers jersey during his rookie season.
• 1997-98 Skybox Premium Star Rubies #237 Karl Malone. This card features “The Mailman” with a shimmering, wave-pattern background that embodies a classic 1990s design.
• 1997 Fleer Tiffany #512 David Arias (Ortiz) Rookie card. Graded GEM MINT 10, the rookie card of the greatest designated hitter of all time features “Big Papi’s” original name before he changed it to David Ortiz.
• 1962 Topps Lou Brock Star Rookie card #387. The rookie card of one of baseball’s greatest base stealers features the former Cardinals great in his rookie Cubs uniform. It is graded NM-MT 8.5+.
