Jackie Robinson an All-Star again as Dodgers uniform tops $400K in MLB All-Star auction
Jackie Robinson made his mark on the MLB All-Star Game, playing in six straight all-star contests from 1949-54, and he starred in each one.
One of the game’s most iconic and important players, Robinson is still making his mark on the Mid-Summer Classic.
This time it was at the 21st annual MLB All-Star Week Live Auction conducted by Hunt Auctions. A 1965 game-worn Robinson jersey topped this year’s auction, selling for $458,250 after a lengthy bidding war at the Capital One All-Star Village in Atlanta.
