The NFL has pared its playoff teams down to eight teams looking to reach Super Bowl LX. On each team, the most visible star—as ever—is the quarterback.

As usual, QB cards are surging in demand during the postseason. For example, Brock Purdy rookie cards were up 380 percent in December, while Trevor Lawrence cards were up 630 percent.

The top young QBs in particular are attracting big demand. In December, cards for MVP candidate Drake Maye were the most-searched on eBay. Joining him in the top five were fellow playoff quarterbacks Caleb Williams and Bo Nix, followed by rookies Jaxson Dart and Tyler Shough.

With that in mind, here’s the highest-selling cards from the past 90 days for each of these “great eight” signal-callers.

• Drake Maye, Patriots: A 2024 Topps Resurgence Superfractor card of Maye fetched $25,600 on 109 bids in a late-October eBay auction. The card was marked #10/10 and graded PSA 10.

• C.J. Stroud, Texans: Two 2023 Panini Absolute horizontal KABOOM! cards of Stroud made noise on the same day (Jan. 11), selling for $9,089 and $8,780. Both were graded PSA 9; one was marked #6/10, the other #3/10.

• Josh Allen, Bills: A 2024 Panini Eminence card of Allen sold for $7,700 on 40 bids. Marked #1/1, the card bears an NFL shield. While that price might seem “off” in terms of Allen’s hobby statue, remember that we’re limiting this study to 90 days and restricting it to auctions. (On the other hand, in Buy It Now sales in the same time span, four Allen cards sold for between $25,000 and $100,000.)

• Brock Purdy, 49ers. The hottest Purdy item is his 2022 Panini National Treasures autographed patch card. A signed Gold variation marked #8/10 and graded PSA 8 sold for $6,900 on 41 points.

• Matthew Stafford, Rams: Stafford’s rookie cards date to 2009. We saw a Panini National Treasures Colossal Prime Jersey card, complete with autograph, sell for $6,480 on 27 bids in January. Marked #1/1, the card was ungraded.

• Sam Darnold, Seahawks: A bidder paid $3,100 for a 2018 Panini National Treasures card—and faced stiff competition: There were 91 bids total. The card, marked #10/20, features both an autograph and a patch from Darnold’s former New York Jets jersey.
