Upper Deck will be putting its NHL license to use this weekend during the 47th NHL Entry Draft at the Bell Centre in Montreal. Upper Deck will be present both days of the event, June 26-27, and has a special autograph-signing appearance scheduled for Derick Brassard of the Columbus Blue Jackets from 11 a.m.-noon on Saturday. Brassard will be signing an oversized (5-by-7 inches) Upper Deck Ice trading card for fans who visit the booth.

In addition, Upper Deck has produced an event-exclusive, six-card set of former first-round NHL Draft picks that can be had by opening five packs of any 2008-09 Upper Deck, Fleer or O-Pee-Chee NHL trading card product with the exception of Victory. The six players in the set are Vincent Lecavalier (Card No. D1), Roberto Luongo (D2), Alexander Ovechkin (D3), Sidney Crosby (D4), Martin Brodeur (D5) and Carey Price (D6). The six-card sets will be redeemed as long as supplies last.

Upper Deck will also have its P-Card station in operation, producing event-branded, personalized trading cards. Booth hours will be from 4-7 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday.
