Rookies & Stars from Panini features the biggest name players the NFL has to offer and includes one of the trading card world’s most iconic inserts—Collect Crusade.
Chase a 100-card base set of all the top players in the NFL in Base True Blue. One hundred of the newest NFL rookies are on display in Rookies Black & Blue. Collect autographs of the latest rookies in Rookies Longevity Signatures Orange.
In Stellar Rookies Red, collect this stunning Opti-Chrome rookie insert, featuring 10 of the most collectible rookies from the 2020 draft. In Crusade Signatures, collect at least two Opti-Chrome inserts per box, on average. Be on the lookout for SP autographed versions numbered 25 or less. In Great American Heroes Gold, chase players who strive for greatness on and off the football field, done in Opti-Chrome.
Statistical Standouts Signatures Platinum showcases some of the greatest players to hit the gridiron. These autographed memorabilia cards are numbered to 99 or less and feature Prime & Platinum versions numbered as low at 1/1.
Find autographed memorabilia cards of the top rookies in Dress for Success Prime. This insert is exclusive to the hobby and numbered 99 or less. Also look for Prime numbered 25 or less and 1/1 Laundry Tag variations.
Look for Team Duals Prime memorabilia cards, featuring combinations of the best rookie and veteran players in the NFL.
The hobby configuration is 10 cards per pack, six packs per box and 14 boxes per case. The box break is two autograph cards, two memorabilia cards, 22 inserts, 12 rookies and five numbered parallels. The release was scheduled for Nov. 18.
2020-21 Upper Deck Series 1 Hockey
Upper Deck’s flagship product sports a 250-card base set, which includes 198 regular cards, 49 Young Guns and three checklist cards. Look for the highly sought-after Exclusives (numbered to 100), High Gloss (numbered to 10) and Clear Cut parallels, each of which are Hobby Exclusive. It has also expanded the base set parallel offering in 2020-21, adding a French version of the full set.
Young Guns are the most anticipated rookie cards of the year and scouts are buzzing about the depth of the 2020-21 class, labeling several prospects as “elite.” Rookie Retrospective cards are back; this insert, which features rare jersey and patch parallels, showcases the top performing rookies of the previous season.
Look for four new inserts, including NHL Worldwide (players with the flag of their country), Dazzlers (brightly colored cards of active stars), Predominant (the game’s biggest superstars against a b&w background) and Debut Dates (first games of top players).
Another favorite among collectors, the UD Canvas insert returns, as do UD Portraits. And Look for UD Game Jersey, with swatches from the biggest names in the game.
The rare, highly collectible Clear Cut PETG inserts return at a rate of one per case, on average. This year’s themes include Foundation Duos, Leaders Trios, Honored Members Updates and Cup Components. Search for Ceremonial Puck Drop, a rare insert that returns, boasting a checklist slated to include Hall of Famers, such as Dominik Hasek. Look for ultra-rare autographed versions.
The hobby configuration is eight cards per pack, 24 packs per box. Box break average is six Young Guns Rookie Cards, four UD Canvas, six inserts (Debut Dates, NHL Worldwide, Predominant, Rookie Retrospective), four UD Portraits Inserts, and one Dazzlers Blue insert. The release date was scheduled for Nov. 18.
2020 Transcendent Collection Baseball
A popular yearly release from Topps, the Transcendent Collection returns Dec. 9 with 54 autographs, one sketch, two complete sets and one VIP invite per box.
Specifically, the box break is one full Icons Base Set (50 cards), one full Transcendent Club Members Reproductions Set (100 cards), 50 autographs (numbered 25 or less) and one each of the following: 1955 Topps Superfractor Autograph, Through the Years Bryce Harper Autograph, Autographed Patch or Cut Signature Book, Oversized Cut Signature or Autograph Patch Letter—all 1/1—and the VIP Invitation (#’d to 95). Past special guests have included Ken Griffy Jr. (2019), Mike Trout (2018), Hank Aaron (2017) and Kris Bryant (2016).
Among the 1-of-1 Cut Signature cards are non-sports, historical figures, such as Abraham Lincoln, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Orville Wright, Orson Welles, John Quincy Adams, John F. Kennedy, Harry Houdini, Charlie Chaplin and others.
