Former New York Yankees pitcher Mariano Rivera hasn’t thrown a pitch in the major leagues since 2013, but collectors have the opportunity to obtain an autographed cap, glove, home jersey, and pair of his cleats in Collect Auctions’ current auction.

The Rivera autograph collection was Steiner-issued, and is one of only eight in existence. It comes in a custom wooden box featuring Rivera’s image. Each item is signed in silver paint pen and includes inscriptions. Each piece carries a matching “6/8” serial number, Steiner holograms and the company’s credit card COA.

The Rivera lot is just one of many in the auction that feature autographed items of former New York Yankees players. The auction ends Nov. 30.

Collectors of New York Yankees autographed memorabilia will also want to take note of a 1936 New York Yankees world champion team-signed OAL baseball with 22 signatures including Lou Gehrig, Tony Lazzeri, and Joe DiMaggio; a Mickey Mantle signed H&B M110 personal model bat; a 1934 World Series Program signed by Babe Ruth and 20 other players; a Thurman Munson signed “Dinner With The Yankees” ticket from 1977; a Mickey “Charles” Mantle single-signed OAL baseball with autograph graded “10”; and a Mickey Mantle single-signed OAL baseball inscribed “HOF 74.”

Other top baseball autograph lots include: a 1961 Giants program signed twice by Roberto Clemente, a Ty Cobb signed oversized check display, a Michael Jordan signed 1994 first base from Birmingham Barons, and a Ty Cobb signed GPC dated “Oct. 27, 1952.”

The football portion of the auction is led by Green Bay Packers items that are autographed. The first is a Curly Lambeau signed photo in “The Green Bay Packers” book. The second is a 2008 UD Ultimate Collection Signature Quads Packers card that features the signatures of Aaron Rodgers, Brett Favre, Paul Hornung and Jerry Kramer.

Several Muhammad Ali autographed items are also included in the auction, including signed photos and boxing gloves.

As usual with a Collect Auctions’ auction, there is a plethora of unopened packs, boxes, and cases of trading cards. Headlining this group is a 1978 Topps Football Cello unopened case. Other highlights include: a 1988-89 Fleer Basketball factory sealed wax case, a 1979 Topps Football unopened rack pack case, a 1975 Topps Baseball Cello box, and a 1996-97 Topps Chrome Basketball factory sealed box.

In addition to auction lots that include graded cards, there are also plenty of lots that include an assortment of ungraded cards, including: 1951 Bowman Baseball grouping with duplicates, 1955 Bowman Baseball group; 1956 Topps Baseball grouping with Hall of Famers and specials; 1957 Baseball partial set; 1958 Topps Baseball partial set including stars, All-Stars and specials; and 1956-74 Topps group including rare variations, checklists and tough cards.
