Josh Allen has been on a hobby fast track for years. But after Buffalo’s loss to Kansas City in the AFC Championship game, the thought occurs that maybe his window to “the next level” is closing. And by that, we’re referring to both the next level on the field (can the Bills eventually break through to the Super Bowl during Allen’s tenure?) and the next level in the hobby, where the Tom Bradys of the world reside.

Well, it may seem like Allen has been around a long time, but he’s still only 28, and still in the prime of his career. As long as Buffalo’s management keeps surrounding him with talent, he’ll be on a short list of Super Bowl–ready teams.

Allen has been putting up phenomenal numbers his entire career. And 2024 was his best season yet: 29 TDs by air (vs. a career-low six interceptions) and 12 more TDs on the ground.

Allen also has been steadily rising in terms of hobby values, and it stands to reason that the trend will continue. Latest example: a 2018 Donruss Optic Rated Rookie card drew almost $20,000 in January.

Multiple other Allen cards on eBay spiked past $10,000 recently. Example: A pair of signed 2018 Panini National Treasures cards from an edition of 25 sold for $15,099 (47 bids) and $15,000 (16 bids). And an autographed 2018 Panini Contenders Cracked Rookie Ticket graded BGS 9.5 (one of 24 made) sold for $15,000 on 33 bids.

Ultimately, if Allen ends up missing out on a Super Bowl win during his career, the hobby won’t leave him in the dust. His Hall of Fame path will keep him enticing as a hobby hero.
