Topps releases Shohei Ohtani 50/50 set

Topps is honoring Shohei Ohtani’s historic 50/50 mark with a special “2024 Topps 50/50: Shohei Ohtani” card set.

The 100-card base set features one card for each of Ohtani’s 50 home runs and 50 stolen bases. The set is available on Monday, Sept. 30 at 12 p.m. ET at Topps.com. A 10-pack box sells for $239.99, with a single pack selling for $25.

Every card in the set is of Ohtani, with five cards featured in each pack.

Other details include:

• Special insert cards feature relics of Ohtani’s game-worn pants from his 50/50 game.

• There are three #1/1 chase cards—#1/1 Dynasty Black game-worn relic autograph cards, including the #1/1 Logoman Autograph card.

• All parallels (both base and autographs) are Topps Chrome cards.

• The set introduces Dynasty Black to the hobby. Dynasty Black includes relics from historic moments.
