Topps declares New Year’s Day ‘1/1 Day’ for card collectors

New Year’s Day is Topps “1/1 Day,” a celebration for card collectors to show off the top #1/1 cards they’ve collected.

New Year’s Day is about new beginnings, but it’s also about looking back and celebrating special moments or accomplishments from the previous year.

For card collectors, it’s a good time to look back at big pulls and big cards you collected in 2024.

Got a special #1/1 card you pulled or acquired in 2024?

Topps is encouraging collectors to share their special 1-of-1 cards on New Years Day while offering sneak peaks of special #1/1 cards that will hit the market in 2025.

Topps has declared Jan. 1 as “1/1 Day” across the hobby, kicking off what it hopes will be an annual celebration.

Check out the Topps social media platforms for fun #1/1 cards for 2025, while sports leagues, teams and athletes share their favorite #1/1 cards across social media.

Topps is also asking collectors to join the conversation and fun by posting their own favorite #1/1 cards using the hashtag #1of1day.
