1909-11 T206 complete set, 1933 Goudey Babe Ruth card highlight December auction at Mile High

Mile High Card Co. is known for offering rare, high-end vintage cards, complete sets and unopened wax packs and boxes.

It has another great selection in its December auction, including a graded 1909-11 T206 complete set with an amazing GPA of 5.20.

It also features an impressive 1933 Goudey #144 Babe Ruth card, graded PSA 8, that could top $400,000.

Two high-profile collections are being offered as a complete set as well as each card offered individually, with the final method of sale determined by whichever total is higher.

A 1953 Bowman Color complete set, ranked No. 7 on the PSA Set Registry with a 7.981 GPA, features PSA 8 grades for Stan Musial, Pee Wee Reese, Mickey Mantle and Berra/Bauer/Mantle, and a PSA 8.5 of Duke Snider.

A 1954 Topps complete set completely PSA graded with a 9.098 GPA and ranked No. 3 on the PSA Set Registry features PSA 9 grades of Jackie Robinson, Whitey Ford and Yogi Berra and PSA grades of Ted Williams, Willie Mays, Ernie Banks and Hank Aaron.

Other elite sets include: a 1933 Goudey complete set with PSA-graded cards; a 1954 Topps Baseball complete set with many PSA-graded; a 1956 Topps complete set PSA graded; 1970 Topps high-grade complete set; a 1975 Topps high-grade complete set; 1984-85 Star Co. complete set in original bags, including a Michael Jordan #101; and a 1986 Fleer Basketball complete set with stickers completely PSA graded.

Other items of interest include: a circa 1912-15 Walter Johnson Type I original photograph used for the image of his Cracker Jack card; and circa 1910 "Fan for a Fan" examples of Ty Cobb, Christy Mathewson, Hal Chase and Larry Doyle.
