Steiner to Host Mega Charity Event to Celebrate Its 25-Year Anniversary
If you know Steiner Sports, you know the company doesn't do anything half-hearted. So why should it's 25th anniversary celebration be any different?
The sports memorabilia company has announced its biggest and most ambitious charity event to date in conjunction with its 25th anniversary, lining up dozens of sports stars to help in the cause.
From Dec. 3-5, Steiner Sports will host athletes in two-hour increments at its corporate office in New Rochelle, N.Y., throughout business hours. As part of his appearance, each athlete will pair up with a top salesmen and make calls to Steiner's VIP customers. In addition, each athlete will promote a special limited-edition holiday item.
All proceeds of the participating athletes’ limited-edition pieces will benefit their respective charities. In addition, a percentage of all memorabilia sales on Dec. 3rd-5 at Steiner Sports will be donated to each participating charity. Steiner will also auction several highly unique experience packages that will ultimately benefit Hurrican Sandy relief programs.
The event is expected to have a large media presence, with ESPN airing live broadcasts every day with athletes available for interviews about this cause. Michael Kay and Steven A. Smith will both broadcast their radio shows from the Steiner Sports offices.
