PWCC Marketplace has made headlines in recent months by brokering some of the biggest sports card deals in the industry.
Now PWCC is launching a new monthly Premier Auction, which will be hosted for approved bidders on PWCC’s website. Trading cards and collectibles in the auction will have a minimum estimated value of $25,000.
“Our goal is to develop marketplace services to create unmatched liquidity for collectors and investors of all levels,” said Jesse Craig, Director of Business Development for PWCC Marketplace. “The Premier Auction is an exciting new marketplace for us to connect high-end collectibles with approved bidders through a digital auction experience that gives buyers the same feeling they get from an in-person live auction.”
Each auction will start on the 1st of the month and run for two to three weeks, typically ending on Saturday nights. PWCC hopes to create an “exciting, fast-paced and engaging experience” by closing all auctions with an extended bidding model and accelerated timer, with shorter countdowns the longer the auction continues. All initial bids must be placed by 7 p.m. PT on the closing night of the auction for participants to have access to extended bidding. To provide ultimate transparency to buyers and sellers, the header of the website will be automatically updated with the card and the current value of the most recent bid.
PWCC’s August auction features several popular, high-end cards including:
• A 2000 Playoff Contenders Tom Brady Rookie RC, graded PSA/DNA 10 Auto #144 PSA 10 Gem Mint.
• A 2000 Playoff Contenders Championship Ticket Tom Brady Rookie RC Auto/100 BGS 8.
• A 2017 National Treasures Black Patrick Mahomes II Rookie RC Patch Auto /5 BGS 9.
• A 1986 Fleer Basketball Michael Jordan Rookie RC #57 PSA 10 Gem Mint.
To provide a safe and reliable marketplace, all bidders must complete an application at https://www.pwccmarketplace.com/premier-auction-application and be approved by PWCC. The goal is to ensure that all bids will be honored and no items go unpaid.
