Griffin, Hansbrough signing for free at Panini booth at National

Officials at Panini America announced that both Blake Griffin and Tyler Hansbrough will be signing free autographs at their corporate booth at the National Sports Collectors Convention which runs through Sunday in Cleveland. Panini America will be handing out coupons throughout the week allowing collectors the chance to meet the NBA rookies on Saturday and Sunday.

Tyler Hansbrough is schedule to appear Saturday from noon to 2p.m., while Blake Griffin is scheduled to appear Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1pm.

"This is a big event for collectors, so we're excited to have these two future superstars signing at our first National as Panini," said Panini America Marketing Manager Scott Prusha. "Since the autographs will be free to collectors, this is a great way to show collectors the impact we are going to make in basketball."

Earlier this month, Panini America made headlines when it was announced they had signed Griffin and Hansbrough (along with Hasheem Thabeet, Jordan Hill and Brandon Jennings) to exclusive trading card agreements. Their cards will be featured in all 2009-10 Panini NBA card products and autograph cards from these five players will be prominently featured throughout Panini America's products.

Those lucky enough to win a coupon, will bring it to the Panini America booth during the designated times to meet the NBA rookies. They will only be signing trading cards produced exclusively for the event.
