Local card shops are on edge over the uncertainty surrounding the pending arrival of Fantatics’ new trading card company, which could dramatically change the way sports cards are distributed.

GTS Distribution is helping to temporarily ease those concerns with the return of National Hobby Shop Day.

The event, designed to spark business for card and memorabilia shops during the holidays, returns on Saturday, Dec. 11 after a one-year hiatus.
