When it comes to Super Bowl victories and big-game heroics, some of the greatest quarterbacks of all time have starred on the NFL's biggest stage. In many cases, their performance and value translated to the football card market.

SCD's Larry Canale has ranked the seven most collectible Super Bowl quarterbacks in NFL history. Check out his rankings and in-depth analysis here

But there are at least seven more great Super Bowl QBs that could have made the list. As such, Canale offers Another Super Seven and their top cards to collect.

JOHNNY UNITAS

The skinny: Appeared in two Super Bowls, the first in January 1969, when he relieved Earl Morrall in the fourth quarter and led the Colts to their first score of the day. However, Joe Namath’s Jets prevailed, 16-3.

Two years later, in Super Bowl V, Unitas started and threw a 75-yard TD before leaving the game with injury. Morrall entered in relief to pull out a Colts win.

However, Johnny U’s combined Super Bowl numbers weren’t pretty: He completed 14 of 33 passes for 198 yards with one TD and two interceptions. Even so, his stature as an all-time NFL great and hobby hero keeps him in this discussion.

BRETT FAVRE

The skinny: After replacing an injured Don Majkowski for Green Bay in 1991, Favre never sat again for the Packers, starting a consecutive-games-played streak that reached 321 (including 297 regular-season and 24 playoff games).

He led Green Bay to two Super Bowls, winning one when the Packers beat New England in 1996. Favre threw two TD passes and scored one on the ground in that 35-21 victory. He retired as the NFL’s all-time leader in TD passes (508), yards (71,838) and completions (6,300). His record as a starting QB: 186-112.

AARON RODGERS

The skinny: The third Green Bay QB among our selections (Bart Starr made the initial Super Seven), Rodgers hopes to find Super Bowl success with the Jets in 2024. He brought Green Bay a Super Bowl win over the Steelers in 2011, earning MVP honors in that game by throwing for 304 yards and three TDs. He currently has the NFL’s all-time highest regular-season passer rating (103.6).

He also owns three Super Bowl rings, one as a starter. The latter came in 1995, when he led the 49ers to a 49-26 thrashing of the Chargers, winning the MVP award in the process.

JIM KELLY

The skinny: The only QB among our selections who didn’t actually win a Super Bowl. Kelly, however, led Buffalo to a record four consecutive Super Bowl appearances. Though his teams came up short in the big game, he established himself as one of the most productive QBs in the game. Leading the Bills’ vaunted “K-Gun” offense, Kelly threw for 237 TDs and compiled a 101-59 regular-season record as a starter.
