Game-used Michael Jordan sneakers, high-grade 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle card highlight Goldin Legends auction

Goldin’s October Legends Elite Auction features one-of-a-kind memorabilia from some of the greatest sports legends of all time.

And few were bigger than Michael Jordan, who not only changed the NBA but revolutionized the sneaker industry.

The auction, which runs through Oct. 28, is headlined by two pair of game-worn and signed Jordan sneakers.

The Michael Jordan 1985 Air Jordan 1s were worn by Jordan during the 1985 season and signed on the right shoe's inside upper ankle. The shoes have an early bid of $47,000.

Jordan wore the 1990 inscribed Air Jordan V sneakers during his first NBA championship season in 1990-91. The shoes display evidence of heavy game use, with the crumbling soles showing separation from the shoe, as well as scuff marks, creases and other hallmarks of game use. Jordan inscribed “Best Wishes” on the outside upper of each sneaker.

The auction also features an example of the iconic 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle card graded PSA 8, which has an early bid of $760,000.

Also featured is memorabilia from such notable legends as LeBron James, Shaquille O’Neal, Lionel Messi, Pelé, Kylian Mbappé, Babe Ruth, Shohei Otani and dozens of other legends.
