Love of the Game donating auction proceeds to LA fire victims
Love of the Game Auctions (LOTG) will donate a portion of the proceeds from their upcoming auction to the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund to support victims of the California wildfires.
Consignors from the auction also will be welcome to join LOTG’s campaign and donate a portion of their commission toward relief efforts.
“It is heartbreaking to see the devastating effects from the wildfires in California,” said Al Crisafulli, LOTG founder and auction director. “It’s so important to us to be able to help those in underserved communities and we are grateful for the work that the California Community Foundation continues to do to support the victims.”
The California Community Foundation (CCF) has been helping communities in Los Angeles County since 1915. CCF’s Wildfire Recovery Fund, established in 2003, has provided over $30 million to communities affected by disasters. CCF provides resources for those most in need, prioritizing underserved communities.
LOTG’s Spring Premier Auction is set to open in late March and close on April 8.
Founded in 2012 by Crisafulli, a longtime hobbyist, LOTG is one of the most respected auction houses in the industry specializing in sports cards and memorabilia with an emphasis on pre-World War II material.
LOTG holds three major annual auctions, as well as specialty sales. For more information, visit loveofthegameauctions.com.
