High-end basketball, hockey cards highlight eBay Marquee Auction

eBay’s August Marquee Auction series features several high-end trading cards that could lead to intense bidding among basketball and hockey collectors, including a unique Olympics card. 

The auction, which runs through Aug. 22, features cards of the top two rookies in professional basketball. 

• A Victor Wembanyama 2023 Topps Now Rookie Autograph Auto Gold 1/1 France card graded PSA 9 hits the market after Wemby led France to a silver medal in the 2024 Olympics. The unique rookie card of the NBA Rookie of the Year for the San Antonio Spurs features both the French flag and the Texas state flag, as well as the Eiffel Tower and a cactus from the San Antonio desert.

Also featured is a Caitlin Clark 2024 Panini Instant WNBA Draft Night Rookie Auto PSA 10. Clark recently set the WNBA single-game assist record to become the fastest rookie in WNBA history to 400 points and 200 assists.
