New Atlanta Braves NFT collection to commemorate 2021 World Series
Candy Digital and the Atlanta Braves are offering a special 2021 Braves World Series Champions NFT Collection to commemorate the Braves’ World Series championship.
It marks the second straight year that Candy Digital, MLB’s official NFT creator, has honored the World Series champions with a special NFT collection.
The Braves collection will be available for purchase on mlb.candy.com at 12 p.m. EST on Monday, April 25 through 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 28.
The collection consists of:
• 2021 Braves World Series Ring: A 1-of-1 3D NFT available exclusively via auction.
The winning bidder will also receive two complimentary tickets and a parking pass to a Braves game, including access to the Delta Club, pregame field access during batting practice and the opportunity to start the game with the words “play ball” over the public address speakers.
The starting bid is $50 with all net proceeds donated to the Atlanta Braves Foundation.
Earlier this month, Candy minted and gifted an NFT of the World Series rings to each player on the Braves roster.
• 2021 Braves Postseason Highlights: Three top moments from the 2021 postseason will be showcased, including: the final out of the World Series: pitcher Tyler Matzek on the mound; and World Series MVP Jorge Soler. Only 100 of these NFTs will be available for $150 each.
• A 2021 Braves World Series 3D Braves pennant, complete with special effects. The pennant will be available in an open-edition format for $20.21.
