2013 Industry Summit Looking at Record Attendance
The 2013 Industry Summit will deliver the largest number of brick-and-mortar store owners to attend the event to date, organizers announced.
More than 235 retailers – representing more than 160 brick-and-mortar stores – have confirmed registration for the March 17-20 trade conference in Las Vegas. Total attendance is projected to exceed 425.
“We are thrilled and thankful for the support of our sponsors, partners and the retailer community,’’ Summit host Kevin Isaacson said. “The infusion of new attendees and sponsors will create additional value for all participants.’’
According to Isaacson, Industry Summit partners – notably several leading wholesale distributors – played key roles in bringing first-time retailers to the March 17-20 event. The Summit has already exceeded its goal of 50 first-time retailer attendees, thanks in great part to retailer scholarships supported by All Sports Marketing, Sweet Deal, Peach State Sports, GTS, Universal Distribution and Magazine Exchange.
“The exchange of ideas – within the retailer community, as well as between retailers and corporate attendees – is critically important to our industry’s development,’’ Isaacson said. “It will be exciting to see these first-time attendees share ideas and improvement opportunities with every class of trade.’’
The Industry Summit has also announced that ESPN's Michelle Steele will be attending the 2013 Industry Summit to conduct interviews for several new Mint Condition segments that air on ESPN, focusing on the collectibles side of sports.
