Olympic Collecting Dreams? SCP Auctions Offering Dozens of Olympic Relics

Among the more than1,000 lots in SCP Auctions' current sale are more than a dozen Olympic-related collectibles, including Great Britain's Jimmy Foster's 1936 gold medal.

Bidding is heating up in SCP Auctions’ 2015 Mid-Summer Classic online auction with nearly 1,000 sought-after lots up for sale.

Among the exciting lineup of important sports memorabilia is a powerful collection of vintage Olympic memorabilia that includes the 1936 Winter Olympics gold medal awarded to Great Britain goaltender Jimmy Foster (representing the Brits’ first and only gold medal in hockey); several coveted Olympic torches spanning Games from 1936 to 1980; and many different Olympic items from the personal memorabilia collection of the late Chuck Daly, the architect of Team USA’s 1992 Barcelona Summer Olympic Games “Dream Team” – considered the greatest basketball team ever assembled.
