Mile High Card Company’s current auction is loaded with unopened boxes and packs
Led by an exceptionally high-end 1933 DeLong complete set all PSA/SGC graded, 1951 Bowman #305 Willie Mays SGC 92 NM/MT+ 8.5 and the sequel to “The Beer Box Find,” Mile High Card Company’s September auction is shaping up to be the strongest in the company’s 20-plus year history.
“While the continuation of the Beer Box find certainly drives this auction, it’s also one of the best high-grade sports card events we’ve ever had. We expect this auction to break all MHCC records for sales,” said MHCC CEO and President Brian Drent.
“Beer Box II” is led by a 1965 Topps Football full, unopened wax box, the only complete box known to exist. There’s also a nearly full 1965 Topps football wax box (21/24).
Other highlights include: a 1960 Leaf Baseball full, unopened wax box, a 1962 Topps Baseball Bucks nearly full unopened wax box (119/120), two 1964 Topps Football nearly full unopened wax boxes (23/24 and 19/24), a 1964 Topps Baseball Photo Tattoos nearly full unopened wax box (103/120), a 1971 Topps Baseball nearly full first series unopened wax box (23/24), and the only known 1968 Topps Test Basketball unopened pack. All have been evaluated and authenticated by Baseball Card Exchange (BBCE).
This time around, the find also includes an unprecedented assortment of non-sports material, led by a 1964 Topps Outer Limits full wax box. Other items include: a 1960s Topps Real Wood Plaks nearly full wax box (20/24), a 1963 Topps Beverly Hillbillies nearly full unopened wax box (23/24), an extremely rare 1964 Beatles Plaks nearly full wax box (26/36), a 1965 Fleer Gomer Pyle full unopened wax box, a 1965 Topps Gilligan’s Island partial unopened wax box (15/24), a 1967 Topps Funny Travel Posters nearly full unopened wax box (23/24), a 1968 Topps Batty Bookcovers nearly full unopened wax box (23/24), an exceptionally rare 1969 Topps Wacky Ads nearly full unopened wax box (21/24) with scarce “Good and Empty” showing, and a 1970 Topps Funny Doors nearly full unopened wax box (21/24).
