Joe Burrow, Matthew Stafford, Tom Brady rookie cards highlight Goldin auction
The NFL’s hottest new quarterback took center stage Sunday night as Joe Burrow’s Cincinnati Bengals took on Matthew Stafford and the LA Rams in Super LVI.
Burrow’s cards have been soaring in value in recent months and are attracting big demand online and in big sports auctions.
If you’re looking to secure a Burrow card, Goldin Co. is the place to go. The auction house has a wide variety of Burrow rookie cards available in its Elite Comics, Sports, Video Games and TCG Auction that closes Feb. 23-24.
An ungraded 2020 Panini Immaculate Collection Premium Patch Rookie Signatures Burrow Patch Auto card has a current bid of $25,000, while a similar Burrow card sits at $15,000.
Goldin has nearly 30 Burrow cards available in its current auction.
The sports section of the auction is also highlighted by another elite QB — recently retired legend Tom Brady.
Brady’s 2000 Playoff Contenders Championship Rookie Ticket #144 is the most sought-after card in the hobby and Goldin has one at the top of its auction. Graded PSA 5 with a 9 Auto, the card already has a current bid of $550,000.
Goldin also has a wide variety of impressive Brady cards, including a 2020 Panini Flawless Signature Gems card signed and inscribed by Brady, which carries a current bid of $50,000.
The auction also features two cards of Stafford, the Super Bowl winning QB. A 2009 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection Rookie Signature Patch card of Stafford had a bid of $1,300 the day after the big game.
The auction also features cards of such other elite QBs as Patrick Mahomes and Kyler Murray.
