1927 Ruth Signed Ball Comes to Collect.com Auctions

There are few names that evoke as much praise and awe as Babe Ruth. There are few teams that draw as much praise and awe as the 1927 N.Y. Yankees, which featured a group of hitters affectionately known as Murderer's Row. Ruth, of course, was a member of that group. Bring the two commodities – Ruth and '27 Yankees together on the same piece of memorabilia, and you have something special.

Such is the case with this single-signed "Babe" Ruth Official American League Baseball that is dated "Sept 10 1927" that will be one of the headline items in Collect.com Auctions December sale. Ruth signed on the sweet spot, and the ball includes a B.B. Johnson signature stamp on the side panel. Johnson was the President of the American League.
