Ted Williams bat, Babe Ruth-signed baseball, 1911 Christy Mathewson card headline Huggins & Scott auction
When it comes to baseball memorabilia, there are few items more coveted or valuable than a Ted Williams game-used bat and a Babe Ruth-signed baseball.
Historic examples of both headline the Winter Auction at Huggins & Scott Auctions.
The auction, which runs through Feb. 26, is headlined by a 1946-1947 Ted Williams Boston Red Sox game-uised bat graded GU 8 by PSA/DNA as well as several single- and team-signed baseballs and the highest-graded example of a 1919 World Series Game 7 ticket (PSA EX 5).
The auction also features a classic 1952 Topps #311 Mickey Mantle card graded PSA VG 3.
“We’re very excited about this event because it includes such a wide array of items that range from iconic vintage cards like T206 Cobbs to unique collectibles like a game-used Ted Williams bat as well as a diverse selection of comics and coins,” Huggins & Scott Vice President & Director of Consignments Ron Oser said. “This event truly embodies our approach of providing an expansive selection of items that caters to the entire collecting community.”
