Tickets from 81 Tiger Woods victories up for bid at PWCC
While Tiger Woods has the golf world anxiously awaiting his “game-time decision” on whether he will make a dramatic return to The Masters this weekend, PWCC Marketplace has a historic collection commemorating Woods’ illustrious career.
PWCC has a lot of 81 tickets from Woods’ 82 career PGA Tour victories up for bid in its April Premier Auction. The set is missing only win No. 16 at the 2000 Mercedes Championships.
The lot includes a ticket from each of Woods’ 15 majors as well as some of his milestone moments, including:
• The 1996 Las Vegas Invitational, Tiger’s first PGA Tour win.
• The 2000 U.S. Open, which he won by 15 strokes and was the only player below par.
• The 2018 Tour Championship, his first victory after a five-year winless streak.
• The 2019 Masters during his return to the tour, and his first major championship in 11 years.
“For a Tiger Woods fan this is one of the coolest things I have ever seen,” says Jesse Craig, director of business development for PWCC. “Seeing this in person is kind of mind-blowing.”
The bulk of the lot has been authenticated by PSA and has a current bid of $11,000. The auction closes April 16.
