PHOTOS: On the show floor at The National Sports Collectors Convention
ATLANTIC CITY — The National Sports Collectors Convention kicked into high gear Thursday, with hobbyists and corporate movers and shakers flooding the show floor of the Atlantic City Convention Center.
While collectors and dealers were wheeling-and-dealing, some of the biggest names in sports were signing autographs at the TRISTAR Autograph Pavilion.
As card companies handed out cards, breakers celebrated big pulls all over the Ripping Wax Breakers Pavilion.
And big crowds lined up at Heritage Auctions to see the Topps 1952 Mickey Mantle (PSA 9.5) destined to break the all-time sports card record and at CSG to view game-worn sneakers from all six of Michael Jordan's NBA championships.
It was a big day for the hobby on Day 2 of the biggest show of the year. Here's a look at the action and intrigue.
