Top picks to have first Panini NFL rookie cards available during NFL Draft

Some of the top draft picks in Thursday’s 2022 NFL Draft will be introduced to their first officially licensed trading cards shortly after their selection.

Panini, the official NFL trading card manufacturer and a sponsor of the NFL Draft, will once again use its Panini Instant cards program to produce the first licensed rookie cards for 30 players selected in the draft.

The cards will feature each player’s new NFL team and logo.

Players attending the draft will have an image from the event used for their card. Panini plans to update the player images during the draft, providing a sneak peek of the card design. At least 21 players are expected to attend the draft in Las Vegas.

Cards of the top picks will be available for purchase on Wednesday at 3 p.m. ET in the Panini Direct Store and will be available for a limited time only.

The 2022 Panini Instant Draft Night cards will be sold as a 30-card (base) collection or individually. Base cards will be produced and numbered to the total amount sold.

Available Parallels will include: Purple & Pink Parallel /25; Versicolor /5; and Black 1/1.
