Tristar adds new National autograph guests

Tristar Productions continues to add autograph guests for the 31st National Sports Collectors Convention, August 4-8, 2010 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore MD. While there is a distinct local flavor to the guest list, all fans will be pleased with the diversity of guests celebrities scheduled to appear. Autograph tickets will be available through Tristar’s web site at www.TristarProductions.com beginning May 28, 2010. The schedule of appearances and pricing will be available at that time.

Appearing at the National in front of the Baltimore hometown fans will be a large group of Orioles Hall of Famers including 18-time American League All Star and 1964 AL MVP Brooks Robinson, 1956 NL Rookie of the Year and 1961 & 1966 MVP Frank Robinson, 1982 AL Rookie of the Year and 2-time AL MVP Cal Ripken Jr., 1977 AL Rookie of the Year and 500 HR and 3000 Hit Club member Eddie Murray, 3-Tme AL Cy Young Winner and 6-time All Star Jim Palmer and 4-time AL Pennant Winner and 1970 World Series Champion manager Earl Weaver. These Orioles greats will be joined by many of their teammates and fan favorites such as Boog Powell, Ben McDonald, Steve Stone, Mike Flanagan and Gregg Olson. In addition to the Orioles contingent, Tristar has announced a group of former Baltimore Colts for the National. Four members of the 1958 and 1959 NFL Champion Colts teams will be in attendance. These greats who played in the 1958 NFL Championship game, dubbed "The Greatest Game Ever Played" are Wide Receiver Raymond Berry, Running Back Lenny Moore and Defensive Linemen Art Donovan and Gino Marchetti.

There is a strong "National" flavor to the Tristar Autograph Pavilion as well. Baseball is well represented by the two newest Cooperstown Inductees. Fresh from their induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame will be Andre Dawson and Whitey Herzog. Other MLB Hall of Famers appearing includes Willie Mays, Wade Boggs, Rod Carew, Jim Rice, Tony Gwynn, Paul Molitor, Tom Seaver, Rollie Fingers, Dennis Eckersley and Bruce Sutter. Also representing baseball will be 1968-69 AL Cy Young Winner Denny McLain and 1960 NL Rookie of the Year and Washington Senators favorite Frank Howard. Future Hall of Famer Randy Johnson, member of the elite 300 Win and 4000 Strikeout Club will appear.

Other NFL greats scheduled include 3-Time NFL MVP and perhaps the greatest running back ever, Jim Brown, 3-Time Super Bowl MVP Joe Montana, Bart Starr, MVP of Super Bowls I & II, Lions HOF Running Back Barry Sanders, Super Bowl XII MVP Randy White, 3-Time Pro Bowler and Browns Hall of Famer Ozzie Newsome, 2-Time NFL Defensive Player of the Year Dick Butkus, Bills Hall of Famer Jim Kelly and Redskins Hall of Famer and Super Bowl XVII MVP John Riggins. In addition to these NFL greats, former Heisman winners Bo Jackson (1985) and Gary Beban (1967) and the NHL's "Mr. Hockey" Gordie Howe will sign at this year's National.

Attendees who purchase any of the VIP packages available will be treated to a great group of free VIP signers. Several former Baltimore Orioles are part of the VIP program and include Paul Blair, Rick Dempsey, Scott McGregor, Andy Etchebarren, Al Bumbry, Jim Gentile, Ron Hansen and Ken Singleton. Joining them to sign for VIPs will be NBA Hall of Famer Calvin Murphy. Jim Lonborg, 1967 AL Cy Young Winner, Mike Rozier, 1983 Heisman Winner from Nebraska, Mike Curtis, 1970 AFL Player of the Year and member of the Super Bowl V Championship Baltimore Colts and Mel Renfro, Cowboys Hall of Famer and 10-Time Pro Bowl selection. Additional names will be announced as they are confirmed

Tickets and VIP Registration Packages for the 31st National Sports Collectors Convention at the Baltimore Convention Center, August 4-8, 2010 are now on sale online at the National's web site, www.NSCCShow.com.

Single-day General Admission Tickets are $16.50 (if purchased online) and are good for any single day of the National, including the Wednesday Night Sneak Peek on August 4. Tickets purchased on site at the Convention Center will be $19.95. Several variations of VIP Tickets are available from $119-$259 and offer additional benefits. All tickets can be purchased for discounted advance prices on the National's web site at www.NSCCShow.com
Autograph Tickets will be sold by Tristar Productions on their web site, www.TristarProductions.com beginning on May 28.
