With Opening Day fast approaching, baseball collectors are ramping up their interest in vintage cards and game-used memorabilia.

Lelands just sold two historic game-worn jerseys from Baseball Hall of Famers Roberto Clemente and Ted Williams for six figures in its 2024 Winter Classic Auction, which closed on March 16.

A jersey Clemente wore during the Pirates’ 1960 World Series championship (SGC Excellent) sold for $256,714, while the Red Sox jersey Williams wore during his 1942 Triple Crown season fetched $191,563.

Clemente batted .314 with 94 RBI during the 1960 season to lead the Pirates to its first championship in 35 years while wearing the gray, vest-style jersey.
