Tom Brady, Jayson Tatum, celebrities help Fanatics celebrate Topps Hobby Rip Night
Fanatics hosted its first Topps Hobby Rip Night for sports card and memorabilia collectors at more than 300 hobby shops across 40 states on Saturday, Sept. 30.
Well-known athletes and celebrities from the world of sports and entertainment joined the festivities in New York and New Jersey, including: Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin, Tom Brady, Jalen Rose at the MLB Flagship Store in New York; Rubin, Brady, actor/comedian Kevin Hart and rapper Travis Scott at Wax, Packs, and Throwbacks in Linwood, N.J.; Jayson Tatum and Fanatics Collectibles CEO Mike Mahan at CardVault in Foxborough, Mass.); Evan Longoria and Arizona Diamondbacks rookie Corbin Carroll at Rip Valley in Phoenix; and former UNC basketball star Armando Bacot at Cardiacs Sports & Memorabilia in Apex, N.C.
The events, which included thousands of hobbyists from across the country, included pack wars, raffles, giveaways, and special merchandise such as exclusive Topps Hobby Rip Night packs.
