Goldin taking rare iconic cards, memorabilia to Japan for consignment event
Goldin is taking its show on the road globally June 14, holding an event for collectors at card shop Blez Asia in Tokyo.
Collectors, sports fans and media are invited to a one-day consignment and meet-and-greet event with Goldin founder and CEO Ken Goldin, the star of the hit Netflix docu-series “King of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch.” Attendees will get the rare chance to consign items in person, view iconic memorabilia, and meet key members of the Goldin team.

The event is open to the public and guests will be able to view such legendary collectibles as the iconic T206 Honus Wagner “Connecticut Wagner” card, exclusive Shohei Ohtani memorabilia, vintage Pokémon items, classic video games, sneakers, game-used jerseys, and more. Goldin will be accompanied by Head of Consignment Dave Amerman and Consignment Director Ryan Krupa.
Other rare, iconic items Goldin is taking to Japan include:
• A signed and inscribed Derek Jeter "Mr. November" baseball from a Game 4 World Series walk-off home run.
• Shohei Ohtani used glove, Topps Diamond patch card, and Bowman Chrome superfractor card.
• Michael Jordan signed Air Jordans, game-used jersey, and rookie card.
• Kobe Bryant Olympic-worn shoes and game-used jersey.
• Among non-sports items are an unopened 1987 Nintendo Super Mario Bros game, Pikachu Trophy card collection, and Superman #1 Origin of Superman comic.
