Topps Archives Baseball returns in 2012 with classic designs, iconic reprints and re-creations of memorable insert sets and plenty of autographs – some coming via redemptions through the Topps Vault.

The set will include 200 base cards, along with gold parallels and printing plates numbered 1-of-1. Also returning for 2012 are Fan Favorites autographs. These will be on-card signatures with players includingDave Kingman, Andy Van Slyke and Will Clark on designs from their era, but with an all-new photo. There are up to 75 different players in all.

Other highlights include 1956 Topps relic cards (55 players), 1983 framed minis with autographs (numbered to 25) and Topps autographed originals featuring 10 retured stars with cards numbered to 5.

Topps will also dive into its past with this set by offering Topps 3D, Deckle Edge, Topps Cloth and Stickers, along with reprints from various sets.

Topps is not only going out onto the secondary market and buying back unopened packs for this special release, but it’s opening the door to its Vault to offer collectors unique and one of a kind items! Some examples include a 1968 uncut half proof sheet with a Nolan Ryan rookie, Mickey Mantle's 1985 Topps Wooworth contract and a 1971 uncut sheet.

Topps Archives is scheduled to deliver the week of May 21. Hobby orders must be placed by Feb. 15
