Details Announced for Topps Triple Threads Baseball Cards

The name says it all: Topps Triple Threads. The name implies lots of relic cards, and Topps is coming through in its September release of the popular baseball card product.

This year's Topps Triple Threads release, scheduled for September, will have the entire season covered, offering relics from the regular season, MLB All-Star game, spring training and the postseason.

Every box will contain:

  • An Autographed Triple Relic Card numbered to 99 or less
  • A Triple Relic Cardnumbered to 36 or less
  • A Triple Threads Unity Autographed Relic Card numbered to 99 or less
  • A Triple Threads Unity Relic Card numbered to 36 or less

Each pack will contain:

  • A Triple Threads Unity Relic numbered to 36 or less
  • 2 Base Parallel Cards numberedto 625 or less and three Base Cards

OR

  • A Triple Relic Card numbered to 36 or less
  • A Triple Threads Unity Autographed Relic numbered to 99 or less

    2 Base Parallel Cards numbered to 625 or less and three base cards.

Thee set will consist of 100 base cards, with multiple parallels starting at those numbered to 625 all of the way down to 1-of1 examples. There will also be 400 total printing plates, all numbered 1 of-1.

The autographed triple relic cards will feature 50 up-and-coming stars on the diamond, with all of the signatures signed on-card. The cards will be numbered to 99 or less. These cards will also have multiple levels of parallels.

Relic cards in this product range from patches of jerseys and bats to letter cards and bat name plates, which is among the coolest of the bunch.

There are also numerous booklet cards, ranging from a pair of players to six total.
