An iconic 1936 Babe Ruth autographed baseball, also hand-signed by 18 players from the New York Giants team – including Carl Hubbell, Travis Jackson, Waite Hoyt, and Fred Fitzsimmons – is one of many can’t-miss artifacts available during Steiner Sports Collectibles’ (www.steinersports.com) first-ever Catalogue Auction (November 17 and 18).

The old Yankee Stadium collection also includes: an authentic bullpen phone from Bronx baseball cathedral, hand-signed by future Hall of Fame reliever Mariano Rivera with the inscription “Enter Sandman” that greets his appearances, an outfield wall panel inscribed “Warrior” and signed by 1990’s hero Paul O’Neill, and old Stadium seatback with 38 Yankee signatures, including the captain Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez, Yogi Berra, Whitey Ford, and Reggie Jackson.

The ultimate collection for sports’ enthusiasts is not limited to Yankees’ memorabilia, as an autographed 1969 Broadway Joe Namath Jets’ road jersey, featuring signatures from Namath and 24 of his famous teammates, is “guaranteed” to be a hot item. From one Super Bowl winning quarterback to another, an Eli Manning signed Stadium directory, helmet, and seatback package is the highlight of the Giants Stadium collection.

Amongst the many signed color photographs are some of “the Greatest” and rare Muhammad Ali shots, including the “Thrilla in Manila,” one standing over a knocked out sonny Listin, and Ali being carried by his fans after another win. Besides Ali, sports history’s greatest legends, from Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods, to George Steinbrenner and the 2007 Super Bowl Champion New York Giants are all captured in stunning autographed pictures available in the catalogue.

Those interested in bidding can call 914-307-1060 to request a catalogue, or log onto www.steinersports.com. The auction will include artifacts from both the old Yankee Stadium and old Giants Stadium. There are currently over 250 lots available for auction.
