And that’s just the beginning. On June 1, Julien’s will host its Sports Legends Auction, consisting of 372 lots, led by a complete Brooks Robinson uniform worn during the 1969 World Series.

The Elgin Baylor Collection is unique in that if you are a fan of the Hall of Famer, there is something in this sale you will be able to afford, no matter the size of your wallet. For instance, you can bid on some Elgin Baylor bobble heads or shell out some big bucks for Baylor’s personal copy of the NBA 50 Greatest Players lithograph signed by all of the legends.

The Baylor Collection logs the playmaker’s time from high school through college into the pros and his life as an NBA executive. That means you can grab signed high school T-shirts to 1958 NCAA Basketball Tournament programs to his Boy Scouts Man of the Year Award.

Baylor also had a lot of signed items of the players he oversaw and played with. That includes signed jerseys, shoes, team-signed balls and much more.

Items that will draw a lot of money include Baylor’s 1959 NBA All-Star Game MVP

SCD readers might be most impressed with Brooks Robinson’s 1969 Orioles uniform that is estimated to sell for between $18,000-$20,000. That is part of a 1969 World Series grouping that includes Davey Johnson’s game-used cleats, team-signed baseballs and signed programs from the Series.

A Babe Ruth single-signed baseball is a lead item among vintage memorabilia, joined by a Rogers Hornsby signed display; cut signatures of Al Simmons, Nellie Foxx and Hack Wilson; Ruth/Joe DiMaggio signed ball; Muhammad Ali signed Golden Gloves shadowbox display; and a Rocky Marciano typed and signed letter.

Speaking of Ali memorabilia, Julien’s will offer the 1960 A.A.U National Amateur Boxing Championship Most Outstanding Boxer Award given to Cassius Clay and a Cassius Clay signed 1960 Olympic torch and related ephemera. There are many more Ali-related memorabilia in the auction, from original artwork to signed fight posters and pennants.
