Steph Curry, Cade Cunningham, Victor Wembanyama cards set records ahead of NBA Playoffs
With the NBA Playoffs almost set, basketball cards are hot, with NBA legends and the sport’s biggest stars producing big sales and record-setting results.
Goldin’s March Elite Auction was topped by a 2009-10 National Treasures Rookie Patch Auto of Stephen Curry that sold for $622,200. The card was graded PSA 10.

The auction also featured multiple NBA cards that set records.
A 2021-22 Panini Prizm Black Prizm #282 Cade Cunningham Rookie card marked #1/1 and graded PSA 9 sold for $317,200, a record for a Cunningham card.
Cards for All-Stars Victor Wembanyama and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander also set records. A 2023-24 Panini Prizm Mojo Prizm #136 Victor Wembanyama Rookie (#15/25, PSA 10) sold for $125,050.
SGA's 2018-19 Panini Prizm Black Gold Prizm Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Rookie (#1/5, BGS 9.5) for $109,800.
A couple of Kobe Bryant cards also set records, with a signed 2003-04 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection Noble Nameplates Kobe Bryant Game-Used Patch card (BGS 9, Beckett 10 Auto) selling for $202,383; and a 2003-04 Topps Finest Gold Refractor #88 Kobe Bryant (PSA 10) for $183,000.
Other hot-selling NBA cards included:
• A 2023-24 Panini Crown Royale Kaboom! Green Luka Dončić (#1/1, PSA 7) sold for $396,500.
• 2025-26 Topps Chrome Image Variation Superfractor LeBron James (#1/1, PSA) 8 for $305,000.
