Topps launches WWE Chrome set with special The Rock auto cards
You can’t release a WWE trading card set without The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin, two of the biggest stars in wrestling history.
A day before the 2025 Royal Rumble, one of WWE’s biggest events of the year, Topps released its first WWE card set since 2021, and it features special, rare cards of the two WWE Hall of Famers.
Topps held the WWE license from 2005-21 before retaining it this year. The new 2025 Topps WWE Chrome set hit hobby and retail shops on Friday, Jan. 31. The new multiyear deal with WWE includes trading cards, trading-card games, stickers, and collector albums.
The set includes The Rock’s first WWE autograph cards in 27 years, as well as a Rock and Stone Cold dual autograph card for the first time ever.

Topps launched the set with a cool video, “Feel the Pop!” featuring Big E and current star Jey Uso.
The 200-card base set features WWE legends and Superstars from RAW, Smackdown and NXT. Inserts include: 1985 Topps (Legends), The Time is Now, Slammy, Shifting Gears, Family Tree, Embedded, and Celebrating Cena.
Case hit inserts include: MANIA, Headshots, Helix, Let’s Go and Feel the Pop!
Each hobby box includes 12 packs with eight cards each. Each box contains 20 refractor parallels, four of which are numbered, at least 12 insert cards, and two autographs. Hobby boxes are priced at $169.99.
Auto cards include some fun inscriptions from some of WWE’s biggest stars, including: Tiffany Stratton (“It’s Tiffy Time”), Cody Rhodes (“Story Finished!”), X-Pac (“I got two words for ya”), LA Knight (“YEAH!!”), Ethan Page in an NXT autograph set (“All EGO”), CM Punk (“Best in the World”), Rhea Ripley (“Rhea Bloody Ripley”), and The Rock (“Aloha,” “Smell It?” and “Rock Final Boss”).
Topps WWE SLAM—a digital collectibles app where fans can collect and trade past and present superstars, iconic matchups and moments—is also a part of the deal (launched Jan. 21).
Starting with the debut of RAW on Netflix on Jan. 6, fans and collectors saw WWE cards as a part of Topps’ Topps NOW offering, including a #1/1 Cena event-worn sock relic autograph card with the inscription “The last time is now,” a CM Punk #1/1 “Go to sleep!” mat relic autograph card, and a The Rock/Roman Reigns first-ever dual auto card.
