Iconic T206 Honus Wagner card highlights new Mile High auction

Mile High Card Company has sold three copies of the rare and iconic 1909-11 T206 Honus Wagner card since 2019.

It has another copy highlighting its September auction, which opens Aug. 23 and runs through Sept. 9.

The current Wagner card is a T206 Sweet Caporal 150/25 graded PSA Authentic (Restored).

Unopened wax packs and boxes include: a 1948 Leaf Baseball wax pack (PSA 7 NM); 1952 Topps Baseball 1st Series (PSA 7 NM); 1954 Topps Baseball wax pack 5 Cent 4-card (PSA 7 NM); 1974 Topps box (BBCE); and 1975 Topps Cello box with Hank Aaron on top (BBCE).

Graded complete sets include: a 1887 N28 Allen & Ginter (10); 1933 Goudey; 1934 Goudey; 1954 Bowman; 1954 Topps; and 1959 Topps. 

Original Type I photos include: a circa 1910s Ty Cobb; 1919 “Shoeless” Joe Jackson; circa 1920s Walter Johnson; 1926 Babe Ruth and Miller Huggins; circa 1930s Roger Hornsby; circa 1930s Jimmie Foxx; and circa 1950 Jackie Robinson.
