Like Pawn Stars? A New Show Will Focus on Sports Memorabilia

The same folks who have produced the popular "Pawn Stars" and "American Restoration" shows on the History Channel have announced plans to create a show dedicated to sports memorabilia.

The production company is currently looking for collectors in the Washington D.C. and Baltimore areas who have items and a story (how they got the item, its background, etc. – not a fish story as to its legitimacy).

According to Sports Collectors Daily, the show will be based at Robbie’s First Base in Baltimore. Anyone interested in having their items on the show – which has no title or set date to ai at this time – e-mail Danielle.Gervais@leftfieldpictures.com.

Is this something you would watch? Do you think they'll take special care to feature legit items? Is Geppi's Sports Museum in Baltimore gong to be a major supplier of goods?
