NHL superheroes reveal their ‘Secret Identity’ in new DC x NHL set
As Alex Ovechkin and Sidney Crosby have shown throughout their Hall of Fame careers, NHL superstars are capable of super-human feats on the ice.
Current stars like Connor McDavid, Nathan MacKinnon and Jack Hughes have emerged as super heroes as well, flying around the ice and saving their teams like Superman.
With the Stanley Cup Playoffs in full swing, Upper Deck is releasing its fourth and final DC x National Hockey League set featuring the two iconic brands in a unique and innovative collaboration. Cards are available on the Upper Deck e-Pack platform through May 2.

As a trading card licensee of Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, the NHL and the NHL Players Association, Upper Deck is releasing the DC x NHL “Secret Identity” crossover.
“We’re thrilled to offer this fourth and final DC x NHL crossover set as we continue to bridge the gap between sports and entertainment collectibles,” said Jason Masherah, president of Upper Deck. “It’s been incredible to merge two of our major licenses and create an unparalleled product for collectors. For this set, we used one of our most popular technologies to really enhance the experience for anyone who gets their hands on these cards.”
The set combines DC with prominent NHL prospects, superstars and legends. Their “Secret Identity” cards feature eye-catching technology to showcase their heroic feats on the ice, as well as their everyday personas away from the rink.
The DC x NHL “Secret Identity” set features 12 NHL stars on flip lenticular card designs that highlight players in their uniforms and off the ice. The set features Ovechkin, Crosby, McDavid, MacKinnon, Hughes, Auston Matthews, David Pastrnak, Matthew Tkachuk, Cole Caufield, Ivan Demidov, Cale Makar, and Connor Hellebuyck.
Collectors who complete the “Secret Identity” set will receive an achievement card featuring Superman and Clark Kent.
This DC x NHL “Secret Identity” set is available now on the Upper Deck e-Pack platform ($19.99 per pack, 1 card per pack) through Saturday, May 2. The cards will be offered digitally, then printed and available to ship at a later date.
