Basketball cards of the sport’s biggest stars continue to surge, as evidenced by PWCC Marketplace’s December Premier Auction.

Led by NBA stars Luka Doncic and LeBron James and Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant, PWCC’s latest auction netted more than $14 million in total sales from 252 cards across basketball, baseball, football, hockey, soccer and other sports, as well as high-selling comics and gaming cards.

A Luka Doncic Rooke Patch Auto card led the way as his 2018 National Treasures Luka Doncic Rookie Patch Auto DNA 10 /99 #127 PSA 10 sold for $780,000, a record for a Donic RPA card. Numbered to 99 and graded PSA 10, it is one of only four with PSA’s highest grade.

The Sticker card, one of only 22 known to exist, has appeal not only as an early rookie card but also a sticker card that rarely surfaces in a PSA 10 grade.
